“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.”

In this workshop participants will learn a backward way of creating and setting a bezel on a cuff bracelet. This clever and cool technique approaches the setting of a stone in reverse to create an innovative design feature. This is one time you can put it in reverse!

Materials & tools for this workshop:

Note: Please order 18 gauge sheet for a cuff bracelet. 1×6” is suggested below but if you need a longer cuff, make sure you order enough length. We will be using a disc cutter on this sheet metal and cannot cut anything thicker than 18 gauge, so make sure you order 18 gauge.

Studio3 will have stone options in the right size to purchase if you cannot source one. Cabochons have to be round and fairly thin and no larger than 12 or 14mm.

Bezel wire must be 28 or 30 gauge and no thicker. Please source the smaller/shorter sizes as noted below. Choose at least 2 variations. Studio3 will have bezel wire/s available to purchase if needed.
